Celebrating 15 Years of Family Fun and Strawberry Treats!

Date:  Saturday, June 10 (Rain Date: Sunday, June 11)

Time:  9AM - 5PM

Location:  Orange Fairgrounds

10. Strawberries, Strawberries, Strawberries

They are the star of the show, the fruit of the season, and offered at the festival in a variety of ways.  Come enjoy a strawberry shortcake, take home a jar of homemade strawberry jam, top off your ice cream with strawberries, or walk around the grounds sipping a strawberry slushie.  Can’t pick one?  Go crazy and try them all.  We won't tell.

9. Pie Eating Contest

For you true strawberry lovers out there, dive in face first to the annual pie eating contest – open to all who want to give it a try.  What’s a festival without some small-town competition?

8. Red Car Show

Can’t get enough red from the strawberry covered faces?  We can’t either.  This year we will be hosting the annual Red Car Show during the festival.  In the past, over 60 beautiful, gleaming, and perfectly detailed red cars and trucks of every era were on display on the fairgrounds.  Do you have a red car you want to show?  Join us and see if your car has what it takes to win this year’s trophy!

7. Entertainment

If the car show and pie covered faces weren’t enough, we will be programming the day with live entertainment featuring a live band in the gazebo.

6. Family Fun

Like strawberries, the festival is for all ages!  Bring the whole family to enjoy everything it has to offer.  Find Kids’ activities, old time games, magicians and balloon animal makers around the grounds, or hop on an afternoon hayride – all ages welcome!  Puppy adoption will also be back again this year.

5. Craft Vendors

As a small-town festival, we are thrilled to feature our local craft makers once again.  Explore vendor booths of every kind dotting the fairgrounds or browse the Country Store tent for special strawberry delights.

4. The Food

For those who think strawberries aren’t a proper lunch, don’t worry, the festival features a variety of delectable choices.  Visit the festival grill for hotdogs, hamburgers, fries and other staples of summer.

3. Pancakes from Chip’s Family Restaurant

Set your alarms – breakfast starts around 9:00 AM and features pancakes from Chip’s Family Restaurant (and of course a strawberry topping!)

2. Strawberry Slushies

The strawberry slushie was such a hit it deserved its own number on this list.  On a warm summer day, there is nothing better than this refreshing frozen treat.  Grab a cup to enjoy as you wander through the vendor or red car areas or just sit and relax listening to the sounds of Furious George!

1. Admission is Free

And so is parking!  This way you can bring the whole family to the 2023 Strawberry Festival.  Look forward to seeing you on Saturday, June 10!
