Energize Connecticut℠ eesmarts™ Student Contest Celebrates 20 Years of Energy Efficiency Education. Connecticut teachers and students encouraged to submit creative energy efficiency solutions in the 20th annual contest; registration deadline March 21.


As spring approaches, the Amity Regional School District No. 5, serving Bethany, Orange, and Woodbridge, is hard at work shaping the 2025-2026 budget, and we are committed to our goals of continuously improving instruction, cultivating creativity, enhancing student engagement and performance


The following students from Orange recently were elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.


Seventh grade students from Amity Middle School in Orange made a mural called “Love Unites” with artist Miguel Estrada. Students worked in groups of three to five. Each group made a painting depicting one of the following words: “empathy,” “kindness,” “friendship,” “respect,” “love,” and “peace.”


Alexander Oleschuk of Orange is one of 482 Mars Hill University students named on the Honor Roll of the Academic Dean at the end of the fall 2024 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 on a minimum of 12 semester hours, and carry no grade below a C.

Orange Youth Services, a department of Orange Community Services, is excited to announce it will award three (3) $1,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors who live in Orange. Funding is provided by a grant through the State Department of Children and Families.


Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the fall 2024 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.


Victor Perez of Orange was named to the Dean's List during the Fall 2024 academic semester at Salve Regina University. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 for full-time students completing at least 12 graded credits, or a semester grade point
