Congregations of Orange unite for Food 2 Kids! Donate non-perishables on December 8th, 1-3 PM, at High Plains Community Center.

The Congregations of Orange Collaborative is hosting a food drive on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the High Plains Community Center to benefit Food 2 Kids.

The event is a convenient "Just Pop the Trunk!" drive-through drop-off, making it easy for community members to donate non-perishable food items. For those unable to attend, alternative drop-off options are available by emailing Sue C. at [email address removed].

Acceptable Donations:

  • Shelf-stable milk
  • Juice boxes
  • Granola bars
  • Raisins
  • Cereal cups
  • Breakfast cereal packets
  • Instant oatmeal packets
  • Microwavable mac & cheese
  • Microwavable ravioli
  • Applesauce & fruit cups
  • Salty snacks (pretzels, etc.)
  • Sweet snacks (cookies, pudding cups, etc.)
  • Full-size peanut butter & jelly

Donations by Check:

Checks payable to "Orange Food2Kids" can be mailed or delivered to the Park & Rec Office at 525 Orange Center Road, Orange, CT.

The Congregations of Orange Collaborative is a group of churches and synagogues working together to serve the community. By supporting this food drive, you can help ensure that local children have access to nutritious food.
