Congregation Or Shalom has announced a Tot Shabbat event scheduled for January 10th. This gathering is designed specifically for children from birth to age 5.


Congregation Or Shalom is thrilled to celebrate the arrival of its new spiritual leader, Rabbi Lindsey Healy-Pollack, with a packed weekend of events for all ages. As a lifelong learner, Rabbi Lindsey is inspired by the Jewish tradition’s values of inquiry, asking questions, and discussion.


During Rosh Hashanah, it is a tradition for members of the Jewish community to visit a body of water and symbolically cast away their sins into the water in the Tashlich Service.


The Orange Interfaith Community invites all residents and neighbors to join in a special Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service on Thursday, November 23, at 7:00 PM at Congregation Or Shalom, located at 205 Old Grassy Hill Road in Orange.


“Coffee & … Learn” is a group of people of all persuasions who come together to explore the ancient texts of our heritage, and the light they shed on the issues of our day. It takes place at Congregation Or Shalom in Orange on Wednesday mornings, from 11am till noon, late fall to late spring.


It’s amazing what you can find on a beach. About 50 members of an Orange synagogue picked up a watch, a hotel key, a paring knife, sunglasses and even a pair of shorts as they scoured Woodmont Beach Sunday as part of their fourth annual beach cleanup.

On Yom Kippur, October 2, 2025, there will be a community Yizkor memorial service at Congregation Or Shalom beginning at 4:00 PM. Attendance is free and open to the public.


YAHAD, the community Hebrew school, is now enrolling for the 2025-2026 school year. YAHAD, a name that means "together," is a community-focused school dedicated to helping students build their Jewish identities.
