Groundbreaking Ceremony of Racebrook Medical Center in Orange
The Town of Orange and Commercial Development Company are excited to announce the groundbreaking of Racebrook Medical Center, located at 235 Boston Post Road in Orange. The new facility will house Connecticut Orthopaedics and Hartford Healthcare and is set to open in the third quarter of 2023.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our commitment to our patients in Orange and surrounding communities with a larger, more comprehensive facility,” said Susan Bader, Connecticut Orthopaedics Chief Executive Officer. “This will allow us to provide care to even more patients and get them back to the activities they enjoy.”
Connecticut Orthopaedics’ two existing Orange locations will transition to this new state-of-the-art facility when it opens later this year, offering patients a full suite of orthopaedic services, including urgent care, imaging, and physical therapy.
Hartford Healthcare, also currently located at a smaller office in Orange, plans to expand and increase their scope of services to the community.
Gary Richetelli, Principal of Commercial Development Company says, “The new building is going to be a beautiful addition to the Boston Post Road landscape and the medical center will service Orange and the surrounding areas nicely.”
