Orange Youth Services Offers $3K in Scholarships

Orange Youth Services, a department of Orange Community Services, is excited to announce it will award three (3) $1,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors who live in Orange. Funding is provided by a grant through the State Department of Children and Families. The scholarships may be used for a 2- or 4-year college, university, trade, or professional/ technical school.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Graduating high school senior
  • Resident of Orange
  • A minimum GPA of 2.0 using a 4.0 scale.

How to Apply

  • Applications are available in the Amity High School Counseling office, at the Community Services Office located at the address below, (Monday – Friday, 8:30-4:30), or applications may download the application from the Orange Youth Services website (https://orange-ct.gov/791/Youth-Services) and mailed to: Attn: Scholarship Committee Orange Youth Services, 525 Orange Center Road Orange, CT 06477
  • Selections will be made by the Youth Services Scholarship Committee.
  • Please include all requested information with your application. Incomplete applications will not reviewed.
  • Applications must be delivered/postmarked by Monday March 31, 2025

  2. Copy of your unofficial transcript
  3. Personal Statement
  4. One letter of recommendation
