Break In Bag

Love escape rooms and puzzles? Grab a Break-In Bag! They’re just like a mini escape room only instead of trying to break out, you must break in! To win the game and free the loot in your bag, you must solve the puzzles which correspond to the 3-digit lock. This is a take-home activity for students in grades 7-12. Registration is required. Thinking of planting a garden this summer? Get started now! We’ll check out seeds from our brand new Seed Library and plant them in our DIY recycled planters. You’ll be able to plant the seedlings directly into your yard once they are ready! This event will take place on the Back Lawn, weather permitting. Mystery Book Discussion

Ban This Book! Club: Flamer

Flamer was tied with Maia Kobabe’s Gender Queer as the most banned book in PEN America’s Index of School Book Bans, Fall 2022. It has been singled out by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the book-banning group Moms for Liberty, whose concerns include that it contains “alternate sexualities.” Join us as we discuss this as a work of literature as well as an object of censorship.
