A Heartfelt Thanksgiving Celebration
Orange Lions Club: 35 Years of Thanksgiving Service
In the heart of every Orange Lions Club member, there beats a common devotion to serving others, a commitment that has defined our club’s legacy for over 3 remarkable decades. We take great pride in reminiscing about our longstanding tradition of hosting the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the High Plains Community Center. Once again, this year, we were privileged to witness the profound and transformative impact of community service.
Our Thanksgiving gathering brought together 126 individuals in person, with an additional 21 hearty meals thoughtfully delivered to homes, ensuring that no one in our community went without a warm Thanksgiving meal. The heartfelt appreciation and gratitude expressed by our guests truly warmed our hearts, reinforcing the significance of our mission.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the devoted members of the Orange Lions Club and the multitude of volunteers who stood shoulder to shoulder with us. Among them were enthusiastic teenagers and adults from our community who generously dedicated their time and energy to this cause. Special recognition goes to the Girl Scout Troop 60274, the Orange Juniorettes, students from Amity Middle School, and a young volunteer from Bethany, all of whom embodied the spirit of selflessness.
