Achievements

Eastern Connecticut State University

Willimantic, CT - More than 900 new students are in their first semester at Eastern Connecticut State University this fall 2023. The new admits include 696 first-time students and 254 transfer students who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate-level programs.  Among them are:  Natalie Garcia of Orange, a first-year student who majors in Social Work; and Jack Hawes of Orange, a first-year student who majors in Business Administration.

Dean’s/President’s List

Goodwin University

East Hartford, CT - Carolyn Push, from Orange, CT, has earned a spot on the Goodwin University Dean’s List and Goodwin University’s President’s List for Summer 2023.  Dean’s List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session.  President’s List inclusion requires a 4.0 GPA. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.  Goodwin University congratulates Carolyn on making the Dean’s and President’s Lists and demonstrating such a high standard of excellence in the classroom and beyond!

West Hartford, CT - Richard Fagan of Orange graduated from the University of Hartford in May of 2023 with a BS in Architectural Design.  Congratulations to Richard and the entire UHart Class of 2023!
