Spencer-Bunnell Wed

The marriage of Dr. Lisa Marie Spencer and Mr. Justin Anthony Bunnell took place on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Henry Ford’s Lovett Hall in Dearborn, MI.  The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s brother, Mr. Christopher Spencer of Trenton, MI.  Lisa is the daughter of Michael and Kathleen Spencer of Riverview, MI.  Justin is the son of Jay and Audra Bunnell of Orange, CT.

The ceremony and reception were both held in historic Lovett Hall on a lovely snow-covered evening.  In attendance were many cherished family members and friends.  The groom’s beloved grandmother, Barbara Cannaverde of Wallingford, CT, was also present to celebrate the happy couple.  The best man was the groom’s brother, Alex Bunnell of Raleigh, NC.  The matron of honor was the bride’s best friend, Mrs. Emily Morrow of Beverly Hills, MI.

Lisa graduated from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  She works in Royal Oak, MI and specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Justin is an Amity High School graduate and holds both Bachelors and Masters’ Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.  He is employed by General Motors as a Propulsion Systems Engineer specializing in electric vehicle propulsion.

Justin and Lisa began dating at the onset of the pandemic and bonded over their shared love of the outdoors.  Their early dates involved hiking, biking, and visiting the vineyards of Traverse City, MI.

The newlyweds, who reside in Farmington Hills, MI, will honeymoon in Hawaii.
