Obituary: Kathleen “Kate” Taylor
Kathleen “Kate” Taylor age 75, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 7, 2024. The daughter of the late John and Patricia Taylor, she was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on April 3, 1952 and grew up in Northfield, New Jersey.
Kate received a M.A. in Economics/Industrial Relations, A.S. in Nursing, Family Therapist Certification all from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. B.A. Fine Arts, Edgecliff College, Cincinnati, Ohio. Kate worked at White Plains Hospital, New York, Yale New Haven Hospital CIU in New Haven, CT. along with various Home Care Agencies in CT. Kate was a dedicated Behavioral Health RN for over 30 years. She was very devoted to all her patients and their families. Kate was available 24/7, always going above and beyond for them.
She is survived by her spouse Susan Noonan, Orange, sister Eileen Cummins, Northfield, New Jersey, brother John Taylor, Galloway, New Jersey, 11 nieces and nephews, and special friend for over 60 years MaryJane Dumont, Northfield, New Jersey. She was pre-deceased by sister Maureen Taylor and nephew Daniel Taylor. Susan would like to thank Kate’s devoted caregivers Alma and Tony Colon for their love and devotion to Kate, along with the wonderful staff at U.S. Renal Care, Orange and Constellation Home Care, Norwalk for the excellent care and compassion they showed to Kate during her illness.
