Independence Day Concert & Fireworks Show Date Set for July 2nd

The town of Orange Annual Independence Day Concert & Fireworks Show will take place on Sunday, July 2nd (rain date: Sunday, July 9th) on the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road.
For this year’s concert, AM GOLD YACHT ROCK has been scheduled to perform before the fireworks show. AM GOLD YACHT ROCK, is a yacht rock tribute band based out of the NY area performing all the #1 hits from 1975 - 1985 including Hall and Oates, Michael McDonald, Toto, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins and all the one hit wonders of that era, such as Brandy, Escape (Pina Colada song), Dancing in the Moonlight and more. AM GOLD YACHT ROCK performs music for all ages and is family friendly.
The festivities will begin promptly at 6:30 pm with welcoming comments from Orange First Selectman Jim Zeoli. The concert will be followed by fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Popular Food Trucks are being lined up, and novelty items will also be available for purchase at the fairgrounds beginning at 6:00 pm. A WPLR radio personality will also be on location. Come early and get a good seat. Admission is free. There will be a suggested parking donation of $5 that will benefit the Orange Little League.
