The Library’s hours are as follows:

  • Monday, Thursday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Holiday Closings:

The Library will be closed on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents Day.

Program Fees:

Programs at the Case Memorial Library are free, except as noted for materials charges, and open to the public.

Registration

Registration is required for all library programs, unless otherwise noted.  Register for events at casememoriallibrary.org/events.

Storytimes

Preschool Storytime

Mondays, 10:30 a.m.

Music, movement, and literacy for our preschool friends!  Join us as we get ready for the school years.  There will be a craft after the storytime session.  Registration is required.

Lapsit Storytime

Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Little ones and their caregivers are invited to explore books, sing songs, and practice interactive nursery rhymes with Ms. Angela!  Registration is required.

Toddler Storytime

Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Get the wiggles out with Ms. Angela!  Stories, music, dancing, and more fill this high-energy storytime for toddlers and their grownups.  Registration is required.

Events For Children

Valentine’s Day Slime

Monday, February 13, 3:45 p.m.

For children ages 6-12.

Make a festive slime for Valentine’s Day!  Registration is required.

Take and Make: Dragon Tassel Bookmarks

Pick up dates: February 21-27

For children ages 6-12.

Make a fire-breathing bookmark for all your reading needs!  Registration is required.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Thursday, February 23, 6 p.m.

For children ages 2-6.

Come to an evening storytime with your stuffed animal friend, then leave them here for a stuffed-animals-only sleepover at the library!  See their fun adventures through pictures the next day.  Registration is required.

Take and Make:  Lion and Lamb Puppets

Pick up dates:  March 6-11

For children ages 1-5.

Make two little cardstock puppets based on the old saying about March!  Registration is required.

Take and Make:  Shamrock Rings

Pick up dates:  March 13-18

For children ages 6-8.

Make two styles of shamrock rings out of pipe cleaners!  Registration is required.

Preschool Playtime

Saturday, March 18, 10:30 a.m.

For children ages 2-5.

Come enjoy our mini obstacle course for a morning of fun and peer socialization!  Registration is required.

Tween Book Bags:  Graphic Novels

Pick up dates:  March 20-25

For tweens ages 9-12.

Tell us what you like and we’ll pick a graphic novel for you to borrow, along with some fun goodies to keep!  Registration is required.

March Madness:  Make a Mini Game

Thursday, March 23, 3:45 p.m.

For children ages 6-8.

Make a basketball themed version of the classic ball and cup game!  Registration is required.

Tween STEAM:  Shield Design

Monday, March 27, 3:45 p.m.

For tweens ages 9-12.

Engineer the perfect shield and test it out against an onslaught of enemies!  Registration is required.

Book Boxes

February pickup dates:  February 21-27

March pickup dates:  March 20-25

For adults and students in grades 7-12.

Our free monthly book box service!  Each month that you register you will pick up a box containing two books selected by our librarians based on your reading preferences for you to borrow as well as some treats and others surprises for you to keep.  Space is limited.  Registration is required and begins on the first of the month for each box.

The Bookcase: Evening Discussion Group

Join Bookcase leader Toby Zabinski for a Zoom discussion of Horse by Geraldine Brooks.  This program will be held via Zoom.  Registration is required.

Pi Day Take & Make Food Kit: Chocolate Hand Pies

Ban This Book! Club

Stamped:  Racism, Anti-Racism, and You by Ibram X. Kendi and Jason Reynolds was also one of the top 10 most frequently challenged books in America in 2020.  Join librarian Rebecca and co-leader Elizabeth Ewen as we discuss this as a work of literature as well as an object of censorship.  This program will be held in person at the Library.  Registration is required.

Panelists:  YA Graphic Novel Club

Thursday, March 30, 3:30 p.m.

For students in grades 7-12.

Join Librarian Nina for a discussion of Nimona by ND Stevenson.  Check for available copies at the Circulation Desk.  This program will be held in person at the Library.  Snacks and beverages will be provided.  Registration is required.

Mystery Book Discussion Group

Thursday, April 13, 1 p.m.
