Children of Orange K-6 Art Exhibit Highlighted Students’ Artist Talents
The students of Orange School recently exhibited their artwork in April for the annual Children of Orange K-6 Art Exhibit. The exhibit featured 82 works of art from students of K through 6th grade in Orange Schools consisting of oil paintings, drawings, sculpture, graphic design, and portraitures. There was also a reception for parents and family members and was very well attended. The students received many compliments in regard their art as well as accolades from parents and school administrators. Youth Services wishes to sincerely thank the following for their hard work and dedication that provided for a very special exhibit: Michael Nast, Interim Superintendent of Schools; Colleen Murray, Director of Curriculum and Instruction; teachers John Kaluzynski, Erin Garney, and Jennifer Russo; Principals Michael Gray, Eric Carbone, Denise Arterbery and Kai Byrd; the Art in the Library Committee; Meryl Farber and her staff at Case Library; Ann-Marie DePetto, Administrative Assistant; and the parents of Orange whose exceptional assistance made for a successful exhibit.
