K-6 Children of Orange Art Exhibit Showcased a Special Array of Student Artistic Artwork
The Art in the Library Committee and Youth Services held the annual K-6 Children of Orange Art exhibit at Case Library for the month of April. The exhibit displayed the artwork of Orange Elementary Schools children K-through 6. Over one-hundred works of paintings, drawings, clay, mosaic, and acrylic were on display. A reception was held and attended by parents, relatives, and friends of the artists. Parents also assisted with the food menu items as well. Youth Services wishes to sincerely thank the following for their assistance in the event: Dr. Vince Scarpetti, Superintendent of Schools; Ann Marie DePetto, Curricula Instruction and Professional Development; Marie Acampora, Administrative Assistant; Principals Denise Arterbery, Michael Gray, and Eric Carbone; art teachers Erin Garney, John Kaluzynski, and Jennifer Russo; Library Director Meryl Farber, John Bencivenga and assistants who hung the exhibit, the Youth Services High School volunteers, and all the volunteer parents.
