The Wepawaug-CT Valley-West Rock Chapter of Hadassah will present a program on “The Art of the Ketuba: A Study in Jewish Diversity” by Nanette Stahl on May 14, 2019, at 7 pm at Beth El Keser Israel Library, 85 Harrison Street, New Haven. Dr. Stahl is the Joseph and Ceil Mazer Librarian for Judaic Studies at Yale. The ketubah is a Jewish marriage contract, created in the 1st century CE to protect the woman in marriage.
