Traditional Irish Music Session at St. Gabriel’s Parish

Ann Dillon will join the P.V. O’Donnell Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann session on Thursday, June 16, at St. Gabriel’s Parish Hall, 26 Broadway, Milford, CT, 7:45 pm. Admission is free. Musicians, dancers, singers and guests are welcomed. BYOB.

Originally from Mullingar Co. Westmeath, Ireland, Ann now lives in Cold Spring, NY where she runs several Irish music sessions in the area. She plays the concertina, accordion and whistle, and will be accompanied by Francie Gildernew, from Co.Tyrone., Ireland, on guitar and vocals. Ann and Francie have recorded a new CD which will be out  this Fall.

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann was founded in 1951 in Ireland to promote Irish traditional music, song, dance and language. Today there are 415 branches worldwide and more than two million people attend Comhaltas functions each year.
