CCSU Spring 2015 Dean’s List
New Britain, CT – Central Connecticut State University President Jack Miller is proud to announce the students who earned a spot on the Dean’s List for the Spring 2015 semester. To achieve this academic distinction, an undergraduate student at CCSU must carry at least 12 academic credits during the semester and earn at least a 3.50 GPA out of a possible 4.0. The students from Orange who earned a place on the Dean’s List are: Marisa Ferretti, Kaitlin Gunning, and Zachary Torro.
Clark University Announces Dean’s List
Rachel Kaplan has been named to the Clark University Dean’s List. Clark University Dean’s List celebrates and honors students who achieve grade point averages (GPAs) of at least 3.8 (First Honors) and 3.5 (Second Honors) in their previous semester’s work. To be included in this list, students must have enrolled in a minimum of four courses, three of them letter-graded, in which they have achieved grades higher than a B-. Incompletes or withdrawals will disqualify a student.
Roger Williams University Announces Spring 2015 Dean’s List
Bristol, RI—Select students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List that semester. The following students from Orange have been named: Kaitlin Collins majoring in Marketing, Shannon Earley majoring in Elementary Education, Yani Lagoutis majoring in Engineering, Leora Novick majoring in Dance, Jonah Schwartz majoring in Economics, and Adam Watts majoring in Criminal Justice.
Kyle Kalanta Named to Union College Dean’s List
Schenectady, NY—Kyle Kalanta, of Orange, CT was named to the 2015 Dean’s List at Union College. Kalanta is a member of the Class of 2015, majoring in Managerial Economics. To be named to the annual Dean’s List, Union students must have a grade point average of 3.5 for the entire year and meet certain other requirements.
Matthew Lettick Named to Dean’s List at University of New England
Biddeford/Portland, Maine – Matthew Lettick of Orange has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2015 spring semester at the University of New England. Dean’s List students have attained a grade point average of 3.3 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester. Matthew is a nursing major at UNE.
James Madison University Welcomes the Class of 2019
Harrisonburg, VA—James Madison University is excited to welcome the class of 2019 to campus this month. The incoming freshman class represents an accomplished, diverse group of individuals who hail from more than 30 states, the District of Columbia and more than 30 countries around the world. Those students from Orange entering the Class of 2019 are: Matthew Attolino, whose selected major is biology; Alex Bunnell, whose selected major is marketing; Addison Robbins, whose selected major is theatre and dance; Mattie Sokoloski, whose selected major is undeclared.
Devyn Curley Graduates from Tufts University
Devyn Curley of Orange, a 2011 graduate of Hopkins School, graduated from Tufts University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude.
