Nicholas Coassin Inducted Into Beta Gamma Sigma & Pi Mu Epsilon

Providence, RI – Nicholas Coassin of Orange, CT has been inducted into the Providence College Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for business students as well as the Providence College Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, a national honorary mathematics fraternity.

Brandeis University Names Orange Resident To Dean’s List

Waltham, Mass.—Rachel Marcus of Orange, CT was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.  The Dean’s List is an academic honor awarded to students who achieved a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, completed a minimum of three courses for a letter grade and received a grade of C or higher in all courses.  Rachel is a Sophomore majoring in Psychology.  She is the daughter of Brad and Paulette Marcus and a 2015 graduate of Amity High School.  Rachel was a student advisor to the Orange Youth Services Committee, a former Superintendant’s award winner, a member of Link Crew at Amity and a team leader at Relay for Life for several years, in addition to her academic achievements.

Fairfield University Congratulates Spring 2017 Dean’s List

Kaitlyn Breitenbach Named To Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Dean’s List

North Adams, MA – Kaitlyn Breitenbach of Orange, CT has been named to the spring 2017 Dean’s List at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.  To qualify for the Dean’s List a student must attain at least a 3.30 GPA.

Cord Depalma Named To Morrisville State College Dean’s List

Morrisville, NY—Morrisville State College recently announced that Cord DePalma, Technology Management – B.Tech. of Orange, CT was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester.  To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

Annemarie Cain Named To Dean’s List At Paul Smith’s College

Paul Smiths, NY—AnneMarie Cain of Orange, Conn., has been named to the Dean’s List at Paul Smith’s College for the spring 2017 semester.  Cain, a junior who is majoring in baking arts and service management, earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.

Nicholas Coassin Named To Providence College Dean’s List

Providence, RI – Providence College has named Nicholas Coassin of Orange, CT, class of 2018, to the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester.  To qualify, a student must achieve at least a 3.55 GPA with a minimum of 12 credits.

Micaela Nelson Makes The Dean’s List At RIT

Rochester, NY—Micaela Nelson of Orange, who is studying biology, made the Dean’s List for the 2017 spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology.  Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Claire Sweeney Earns Dean’s List Honors At Saint Joseph’s University

Philadelphia, PA—Claire Sweeney, of Orange, CT, earned Dean’s List honors at Saint Joseph’s University for the Spring 2017 semester.  Sweeney studies Psychology in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences.  Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.

Katherine Boynton Named To St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List

Canton, NY—Katherine D. Boynton of Orange has been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Spring 2017 semester.  Boynton is a member of the Class of 2017 and is majoring in biology.  Boynton attended Academy of Our Lady of Mercy.  To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Andrea Noss Named To SUNY Oswego President’s List

Oswego, NY—Andrea E. Noss of Orange, a senior majoring in business administration, has been named to the President’s List for the spring 2017 semester at SUNY Oswego.  She was among Oswego students who achieved a grade point average of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale.  Those achieving a GPA of 3.30 to 3.79 earned Deans’ List recognition.

Stevenson University Congratulates Gabrielle Digello For Being Named To The Dean’s List

Owings Mills, MD—Stevenson University student Gabrielle DiGello is honored for being named to the Spring 2017 Semester Dean’s List.  Students who earn the Dean’s List honor must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a grade point average of a 3.50 or better.

University Of Rhode Island Students Are Named To The Spring 2017 Dean’s List

Kingston, RI—The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 5,290 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2017 Dean’s List.  The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and countries.  The following Orange students were named to the Dean’s List:  Caitlin M Nickerson; Jarod Tashea; Julia Forbes; and Kiley K Saxa.  To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.  Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Jillian Ball Named To Spring 2017 Dean’s List At University Of The Sciences

Philadelphia, PA—Jillian Ball has been named to the spring 2017 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences.  Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2017.  Ball of Orange, CT is a doctor of occupational therapy student.

Matthew Lettick Named To Dean’s List At University Of New England

Biddeford And Portland, Maine/Tangier, Morocco – Matthew Lettick of Orange, CT has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2017 spring semester at the University of New England.  Dean’s List students have attained a grade point average of 3.3 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.

Courtney Krasenics graduated from Bryant University with a major in Chinese and minor in marketing.  Courtney is the daughter of Deb and Ed Krasenics.

Kevin Allaire Graduates From Paul Smith’s College

Paul Smiths, NY—Kevin Allaire of Orange, Conn., graduated from Paul Smith’s College in May 2017.  Allaire earned an associate of applied science in forest technology from Paul Smith’s, which is located in the Adirondack Park in upstate New York.

Orange Residents Earn Law Degrees At Quinnipiac University

Hamden, Conn. – Jessica Gouveia and John Russo of Orange, CT, received a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law during a recent ceremony.

Shannon Earley Graduates From Roger Williams University

Bristol, RI—Roger Williams University is proud to announce that Shannon Earley, of Orange, graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education in May as part of the Class of 2017.

2017 Siena College Commencement

Loudonville, NY—Sunday, May 14 saw 799 Siena Saints become alumni at the 2017 Commencement ceremonies at the Times Union Center in Albany.  The graduating class represented 31 undergraduate majors and one graduate major, and more than 80 minors and certificate programs.  Those from Orange who were part of the 2017 graduating class are:  Nicholas Tudino and Alyssa Aconfora.

University Of Rhode Island Graduates About 3,200 Students At Commencement

Kingston, RI—At the University of Rhode Island’s 131st Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 2017, about 2,600 undergraduate and 650 graduate students became the University’s newest alumni.  The following students from Orange graduated from the University:  Caitlin M Nickerson received a Bachelor of Science, Communicative Disorders Summa Cum Laude; Nikki Marie Guadagnoli received a Bachelor of Science, Human Development and Family Studies; and Allie Jean DiBenedetto received a Bachelor of Science, Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design.  Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.

UW-Madison Announces Spring Graduates

Madison Wis – More than 7,000 students received degrees during the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s spring commencement ceremonies, May 11-12, 2017.  Those from Orange who received degrees are:  Dana Grindall, School of Human Ecology, Bachelor of Science-Human Development and Family Studies, Human Development and Family Studies, and Raymond Moquet, School of Business, Bachelor of Business Administration, Business: Finance, Investment and Banking.
