Dean’s List

Noelle Bencivengo Named To Castleton University Dean’s List

Castleton, VT—To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.  Those from Orange named to the Dean’s List are:  Noelle Bencivengo and Sarah Santini were recently named to the Castleton University Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year.

CCSU Fall 2016 Dean’s List Announced

New Britain, Conn. – Central Connecticut State University President Zulma R. Toro is proud to announce the students who earned a place on the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester.  To achieve this academic distinction, an undergraduate student at CCSU must carry at least 12 academic credits during the semester and earn at least a 3.5 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA.  The students from Orange who achieved Dean’s List distinction are:  Marisa Ferretti, Madison Flanagan, Kaitlin Gunning and Daniel Ryan.

Orange Student Named To Curry College Dean’s List

Milton , MA—Curry College is proud to announce that Kayla Prete of Orange has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester.  To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a “C” for the semester.  Full-time students must carry 12 or more graded credits for the semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University Full-Time Students Named To Fall 2016 Dean’s List

Willimantic, CT—Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of full-time students who were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester.  Those from Orange include:  Katherine Esposito ‘20, major is Health Sciences; Jaclyn Kordiak ‘17, major is General Studies; Dominic Livoti ‘19, major is Environmental Earth Science; Amanda Meade ‘17, major is Communication; and Mackenzie Seymour ‘20, major is Business Administration and Accounting.

Roger Williams University Announces Fall 2016 Dean’s List

Bristol, RI—Select students have been named to the Fall 2016 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.  Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List that semester.  The Orange students include:  Michael Jarmon and Catherine Dunleavy.

Claire Sweeney, Earn Dean’s List Honors At Saint Joseph’s University

Philadelphia, PA—Claire Sweeney, of Orange, CT, earned Dean’s List honors at Saint Joseph’s University for the Fall 2016 semester.  Sweeney studies Psychology in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences.  Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.

Anthony Coscia Named To Siena College Dean’s List For Fall 2016 Semester

Loudonville, NY—Anthony Coscia has been named to the Siena College Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester.  Coscia is an Actuarial Science major from Orange, CT.  To be named to the Dean’s List, a student’s grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

Springfield College Recognizes Dean’s List Students For The 2016 Fall Semester

Springfield, MA—Springfield College Recognizes Dean’s List Students for the 2016 Fall Semester.  The following Orange students were named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2016 term:  Allison Koshes, studying Health Science; Corinne Johnson, studying Health Science/Occupational Therapy; and Ashlyn Gallo, studying Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy.  Criteria for selection to the dean’s list requires that the student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the semester, the student must not have any incompletes in the designated semester, and the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

Andrea Noss Named To SUNY Oswego Deans’ List

Oswego, NY—Andrea E. Noss of Orange, a junior business administration major, earned Deans’ List recognition at SUNY Oswego for fall 2016.  She was among students who received a grade point average of 3.3 to 3.79.  Oswego students receiving a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 earn President’s List recognition.

Dean’s List At University Of Delaware

Newark, DE—Students from Orange have been named to the University of Delaware Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester:  Courtney Brennan, Morgan Guadagnoli, Rebecca Kaplan, and Lauren Mastrofrancesco.  To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

West Hartford, CT—The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Elizabeth Poland of Orange has been named to its Dean’s List for Fall 2016.

Timothy Johnston Named To The University Of New Hampshire’s Dean’s List For The Fall 2016 Semester

Durham, NH—Timothy Johnston of Orange has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire for earning Honors for the fall 2016 semester.  Johnston is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits).  Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0.  Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

More Than 5,400 University Of Rhode Island Students Are Named To The Dean’s List

Kingston, RI—The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,401 students have qualified for the Fall 2016 Dean’s List.  The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, other states and more than 16 countries.  To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average.  Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.  The following students from Orange are named to the University of Rhode Island’s Fall 2016 Dean’s List with their area of study:  Nicole Marie Guadagnoli, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies; Caitlin M Nickerson, majoring in Communicative Disorders; Jarod Tashea, majoring in Accounting; Julia Forbes, majoring in Textile, Fashion Merchandising & Design; Michael Lawrence Stewart, majoring in Nursing; and Michael James Saxa, majoring in General Business.

Local Residents Named To The University Of Scranton’s Fall 2016 Dean’s List

Scranton, PA—Local residents were among the more than 1,500 students named to The University of Scranton’s Dean’s List for the 2016 fall semester.  The Dean’s List recognizes students for academic excellence.  A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the fall semester to make the Dean’s List.  The students from Orange are:  Haley Forcier, a freshman occupational therapy major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies; and Samantha Gaynor, a freshman occupational therapy major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies.

Ajay King Named To Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Fall 2016 Dean’s List

Worcester, MA—Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Ajay King of Orange, Conn., a member of the class of 2018 majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the university’s Dean’s List for academic excellence for the fall 2016 semester.  A total of 1,424 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI’s fall 2016 Dean’s List. The criteria for the WPI Dean’s List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA).  Instead, WPI defines the Dean’s List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
