I received a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University and MBA from Northeastern University. Early in my career I sold apparel for Adidas and was recognized for sales excellence. Later I worked for Starter Sportswear as a sales manager. Within a short period, I was promoted and I was recognized as the industry’s best merchandiser, and by Ad Age as one of the top 100 marketers in the country.
At Major League Soccer, I grew its consumer products business twenty-fold. Additionally, I spear-headed the league’s largest commercial relationship, a $150 million ten-year agreement with Adidas.
Currently, I run my own agency where I manage sales for eight special interest magazines and websites, develop licensing programs for athletes such as Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods and work with the United Soccer League.
In each of these positions, I have worked with large budgets and know the value of getting the most out of each dollar. I’ve lived in Orange with my wife for over 22 years, and my twin daughters were born and raised here. I want others to be able to have that same experience and will work to control spending and our ever-increasing mill rate.
