To the Editor:
I’ve recently had a medical experience that led me to write this letter. Many of us in Orange are not aware of the wonderful agency we have in town, The Orange Visiting Nurse Association.
I came directly home from the hospital after my surgery, and the OVNA was there right away to help with my recovery. Judy Benson, the director, arranged for nursing care as well as physical therapy. I felt my care was exceptional. They were willing to answer all my questions, as well as provide the care I needed.
Too often we, as residents, are quick to complain about the services we have in town. I want to stress that the OVNA is an asset we should be proud of and support.
