Orange takes on the Cape!

On May 13 & 14, 2016 Orange Community Services will take on RAGNAR a 200 mile relay race. Denise Stein and Dennis Marsh are forming a 12 member team to run the Cape Cod race to raise funds for the Community Assistance Fund (the Emergency Fuel Bank and Food Pantry), but we need your help! We need financial pledges and sponsors. You can help us run these grueling 200 miles!

Pasta Festa

Join us on Friday, May 27 from 5 to 8 for our annual Pasta Festa! We will be at a new location, the beautiful, Grassy Hill Country Club, 441 Clark Lane, Orange. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of this year’s Living Treasure Awards to Gail Nixon, Ginny Reinhard, & Pat Zeoli. Winners of the raffle will go home with some great prizes donated by individuals and local businesses. Tables of 8 to 10 are available. If you wish to be seated with particular people, payment for the group must be made at the same time. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that you will be sitting together. Please let us know if you would like to donate a prize for the raffle. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 1 at $30 per person.

VNA Community Lectures

Maplewood Monday

Learn More About Your Iphone Or Ipad!

Want to demystify technology? Join instructor Aubry for a 4 week class for the beginner. It is a very informative class including lessons on the external features, basic accessibility functions, settings, shortcuts and main Apple applications of the iPhone or iPad. Technology is always changing, so you are sure to learn something, even if you have had your iPad or iPhone for years! The class will be limited to 10 people and the cost is $20 per person for the 4 week course, so please call or visit the Senior Center office to find out when the next session will run and to register. We hope to see you there! Aubry is also available for help at home.

Technology Assistance For Seniors!

Technology has its own language, and those around us sometimes assume everyone knows the language fluently…but not all of us do! With patient assistance from Aubry, you can gain knowledge and skills that will ease your frustration with these “smart” devices, and have fun doing it! Thursday, May 19 11:30am, Bryant Andrew House with the Orange Historical Society. You can park at the Old Tavern Road Baseball fields and meet us at the house for a tour of the house from 12:00—1:00pm. Be sure to RSVP.

Book Club

The monthly book club will meet Monday, on May 9, from 2:00-3:30pm in room 3. This month is People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks.

Yoga Dance
