Orange Chamber to Host First Selectman Debate

The Orange Chamber of Commerce will host the town’s First Selectman Debate on October 26, 2017, 6:30 p.m. at the Grassy Hill Country Club, 411 Clark Lane, Orange.

This year there are three candidates running for the First Selectman’s office:  the incumbent Republican, Jim Zeoli, who has held the position for 12 years, the Democratic challenger, Margaret Novicki, recently retired from a 22-year career with the United Nations and Alex DeAngelo, a 24 year old Orange native and recent SCSU graduate.

Danial May, Provost and Senior Vice President at the University of New Haven will be moderating the debate.  The public may submit their questions to director@orangectchamber.com by October 6, 2017.

The event is free and open to the public thanks to the Orange Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber Insurance Trust, the Orange Republican Town Committee, the Orange Democratic Town Committee,  and the Orange Independent Committee stepping up to sponsor the debate.
