Mildred E. Marsh, a long time resident of Orange entered into eternal rest on January 27, 2016. She was the wife of the late James E. Marsh. They were married 65 years ago in New York City, where Millie was born. They moved to Bridgeport in 1947 and then to Easton, Charlestown Beach, Rhode Island and finally, Orange.
Millie was survived by her two devoted children, Judy LaChioma and husband Looie and son, Wayne and his wife Susan as well as two beautiful grandchildren, David LaChioma and his wife Lisa and Danielle LaCbioma, two great grandchildren , Valentina Ariel and Vincenzo LaChioma and very special niece, Donna Bylard of Tujunga, CA.
Millie graduated from Washington Irving Fine Arts School in Manhattan and went on to become a color separator for the New York Herald Newspaper and comic strips. She was a multi-talented artist, who enjoyed giving her artwork away to friends who would cherish her treasures and memory. Millie traveled to the far corners of the world and made many friends along the way.
A memorial service for her and Jim was be celebrated on July 16, .2016 at the Lawncroft Cemetery Mausoleum in Fairfield. This will be held on her 90th birthday. Fr. Stephen Maliuk of St. Mary’s Ukranian Orthodox Church officiated at the service.
