Babs Gervasi of Woodbridge, CT passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 18, 2019 at the age of 76. Born in New Haven, CT on May 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Rosalind Schwartz and the beloved wife of Daniel V. Gervasi who predeceased her in January, 2009. She is survived by her devoted companion James Darling and her daughters Robin (Charles) Levine of Coatesville, PA, Karen Woodward (Craig Johnson) of Bethany, CT, Michelle (William) McNeil of Orange, CT. She also leaves behind her dear grandchildren Elayna (Aaron) Stein, Michael (Kari) Levine, Paige and Samantha Woodward, Amy and Brett McNeil. She was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Acelynn and Mason Levine, Eli and Ryleigh Stein as well as the late and precious Danny Stein.
Babs attended the University of Connecticut where she met her husband of 45 years. She was the owner of Centerville Card and Candy in Hamden, CT for over 20 years. She loved animals especially her cats Elliott and Oscar.
