Angela “Angie” M. Bartholomay, 56, of Orange, beloved wife of 32 years to William G. Bartholomay, passed away on August 2, 2016. She was born on November 30, 1959 in New Rochelle, NY to Barbara Bundschuh Hernandez and the late Carlos Hernandez.
Angie was a very dedicated wife and mother. She was a past president of the Peck Place Elementary School PTA, a Cub Scout Den Mother, and an advocate for special-need children’s education. Angie was an excellent cook and enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors.
Besides her husband, Bill, Angie is survived by her children, Hilary Anne, Liam Alexander, and Jonathan Michael Bartholomay; step-children, Jeffrey Richard and Katherine Alicia Bartholomay; siblings, Susie (Stetson) Orchard, the late Michael Hernandez, Gina (Ted) Tanney, Jorge (Ellen) Hernandez, and Lisa (Albert) Vasquez; her loving niece and nephews; and her cats, Beatrice, Feisty, Molly, Smokey, and her granddog, Pumba.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on August 8, 2016 at Saint Mary R.C. Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford, CT. Arrangements were in the caring hands of the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT. Interment was be private.
