Table-top Christmas trees, house tours, music, Milford cider and a visit from St. Nick are all part of the Christmas Faire planned by the Milford Historical Society Friday, December 11, 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, December 12 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. There will be lots to look at and lots of Christmas gifts and decorations to buy. The society’s three 18th century houses, at 34 High Street, will be decorated and open for tours.
Live music, storytelling and the visit from St. Nick Friday will are planned for December 11 and Saturday, December 12 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. There will be handmade, one-of- a-kind gifts and delicious baked goods to purchase and nibble on site. There will even be Milford cider from a special recipe! Members have made and will sell a beautiful array of themed table-top Christmas trees and wreaths, perfect additions to your seasonal decorations.
The society’s Country Store is a great place to do your Christmas shopping – nothing needs batteries or needs to be charged! You will find books, games, jewelry, Early American decorations, and much more. Added hours for the Country Store are Saturday, November 28 and Sunduay, November 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Special exhibit: The 12 days of Christmas as you have never seen it before. Admission $5 – children 10 and younger free.
