Mark Rawden has lived in Orange since 2014. He grew up in West Haven, graduating from West Haven High School in 1999 and Boston College in 2003, where he earned his BS in Marketing. Prior to moving to Orange, he lived in New Haven and Cheshire, exposing him to a number of different urban and suburban environments that helped shape his views of local policy.
He is currently a Senior Manager of Customer Engagement at Charter Communications in Stamford and has worked for several Connecticut-based marketing agencies throughout his career. This outside the box experience will bring a fresh perspective to the Amity Board of Education, allowing for fresh ideas and a new voice representing Orange residents.
He lives with his wife of five years, Marcia, and their 15-month old son, Jacob. He is proud to be a candidate for the Amity BOE, knowing that he can help shape the education that his son will receive down the line.
