Please join us as our featured speaker, Dr. Eric A. Goldman uses thought-provoking film clips to retell the American Jewish story through cinema. Dr. Goldman received a Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from New York University. He is Adjunct Professor of Cinema at Yeshiva University. Dr. Goldman is founder and president of Ergo Media, a video publishing company specializing in Jewish and Israeli video. Widely known as a captivating educator, he has served as a member of the Educational Advisory Committee of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. Eric Goldman has written extensively on the Jewish experience in film. His most recent book, “The American Jewish Story Through Cinema,” published in 2013 by University of Texas Press, has garnered critical acclaim. All are welcome. Free and open to the public.
