Applications are now being accepted by The Orange Foundation for grants to be distributed in the spring of 2016. Funding is available for projects benefiting the residents of Orange. Those eligible for grants include non-profit organizations, parent-teacher organizations, and service organizations.
According to Janice Lettick, Distribution Committee Member and Chair of Grant Distribution, “Since it began giving out grants, the Foundation has distributed over $145,000 to various local civic and community organizations. The grants range in size from $500 to $1,500. We encourage Orange community organizations to apply for funding to support their activities.” Past recipients include: Shepherd’s Table; Orange Juniorettes; Orange Senior Services; Orange Historical Society; and the American Legion Post 127.
Deadline for applications is April 30, 2016. Applications are available online at www.orangefoundtion.org and at the Orange Town Hall, and Case Memorial Library. Completed applications may be mailed to The Orange Foundation, P.O. Box 729, Orange, CT 06477-0729.
