Golf Tournament to Benefit New Fields at Fred Wolfe Park

The Amity Girls Youth Lacrosse Association is hosting a fundraiser golf tournament Monday, June 8. All proceeds will go towards field development which is underway at the Fred Wolfe Park.

The event takes place at Orange Hills Country Club on Racebrook Rd. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 7 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start – scramble format. Soft spikes and appropriate golf apparel are required.

Amity Girls Youth Lacrosse Founder Bill McNeil expects the event to be a day filled with fun and friendly competition. Lunch will be provided for each golfer on the course and dinner and a raffle will follow. Prizes will be given to the First, Second and Third Place Teams as well as the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. The tournament will also feature a Hole-in-One Contest.

Cost is $150.00 per golfer. Flag sponsorship is $100. To register a foursome or reserve an individual spot, contact Bill McNeil at Billassure@hotmail.com. Sponsorship opportunities at the $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000 levels are also available.
