Coppola Inducted Into Hall of Fame

On October 15th, Amity High School Baseball Coach Sal Coppola was inducted into the Southern Connecticut Diamond Club’s Hall Of Fame at the Club’s annual dinner at Monticello’s Restaurant in Meriden, CT. Coach Coppola was honored for his outstanding baseball accomplishments and contributions in the Southern Connecticut area both as a standout player at Hamden High School and Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) and as the legendary coach of the Amity High School Spartans. Coach Coppola’s 17 year coaching career at Amity is highlighted by 5 CT State Class LL Baseball Championships including winning the last 3 consecutive titles and becoming the first coach in CT State history to do so at the class LL level.
