Ciola Wins 1st Place Trophy & Best in Show at CASHO “Snow Plow Roadeo”

Kenneth Ciola, a nine-year employee of the Orange Highway Department, took 1st place in the October 15, 2015 “Snow Plow Roadeo” which took place in Wallingford, Connecticut. This annual event is sponsored by CASHO (Connecticut Association of Street and Highway Officials) and CIRMA is a plow truck driving competition in which public works employees from cities and towns across Connecticut drive their city/town snow plows to compete for the first place trophy and bragging rights. Drivers are rated according to their driving proficiency, skills and safe driving abilities.

In addition to Ken winning the first place trophy, the Town of Orange 2013 Mack “Truck #73” he drove took the award for “Best in Show”.

Well done, Ken! And, congratulations to Ken and the entire Orange Highway Department he represented, as well. The Roadeo was definitely a proud day for the Town of Orange.
