17th-Century Encampment, Friday, September 20, 2019, 10am-5pm; 110 Pequot Trail, Ledyard, The Mashantucket Pequot Museum will be holding a 17th-century encampment and the Derby Historical Society will participate while interpreting life during the era.  Dan Bosques, Executive Director for the Derby Historical Society, will be demonstrating primitive technology skill, such as flint-knapping and cordage making.
