Amity Teen Center Presents The 22nd Annual Chilly Chili Run

It’s hard to believe, but it is almost time for the New Year’s Day Chilly Chili Run to benefit the Amity Teen Center.  The 22nd annual 5K Race and Fitness Walk, followed by a hot chili brunch, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1st at the High Plains Community Center in Orange.

Entry fees are $27.00 for the 5K Road Race, $15.00 for runners 12 and under, and $15.00 for those who want to register for the 5K Fitness Walk.  Registrations will be taken online until Tuesday, December 25 at midnight at www.hitekracing.com.  Applications for mail in registration are also available at the Orange Park Department at the High Plains Community Center.

There will also be an Early Packet Pickup and late Registration in person at the High Plains Community Center on Monday, December 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12;00 p.m.  Day of Race registrations will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the gymnasium.

This is the Amity Teen Center’s largest fundraiser of the year.  We are fortunate, once again, to have People’s United Bank as our Title Sponsor.  So, join us on January 1st to walk or run to celebrate the New Year and enjoy a hot chili brunch afterward.

For more information, please call Race Director Joe Riccio at (203) 481-7453 or email him at wssac-ct@juno.com.
