Students in both seventh and eighth grade Spanish classes at Amity Middle School in Orange were offered the opportunity to enter a contest to create posters about different aspects of the Hispanic culture as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. They could profile a Hispanic country, profile a famous Spanish-speaking person, or make a poster of what the student considers to be the most important advantages of learning Spanish. The three winners of this contest are: Xavier Ramos, who chose to make a poster about Puerto Rico; Nandan Sureshkumar, who created a poster about Mexican culture; and Rachel Eagle, who decided to make a poster about George Lopez. Congratulations (¡Felicidades!) for a job well done.
